CBD AND IT'S RELIGIOUS/SPIRITUAL USAGES

Today in most modern and even more ancient religious practices/customs with a westernized flare have held on to the thought of the use of cannabis to be a sin, taboo, and a down right no no. However, in the past 10 years or so that song is changing its tune. As Medical Marijuana and the benefits of CBD is on the rise in the health and wellness industry many religions have adopted some form of CBD and Medical Marijuana usages as tools of enlightenment or even healing.

What's some thoughts on why this phenomenon has emerged in many religious sects, could this be the beginning of a new era?
